Join us for the First Glorious Garden of the Year!
We invite you to our very own spring garden at Yeovil Hospice Hub, where our trees should be in full bloom, and the vibrant spring shrubs and tulips will create a stunning display. Wander along the winding paths, enjoy a free wildlife tour from our head gardener, support the hospice by grabbing a relaxing cup of tea and a cake, and enjoy our Earth Day activities!
Earth Day is a day to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainability—something we’re passionate about at St Margaret’s.
There’s something for everyone, with a scavenger hunt for children to explore the garden and collect natural items. They can also meet our friendly mascot Busy Bee, who will be buzzing around helping us to celebrate Earth Day and the launch of Glorious Gardens!
Julian Bird from Reclamation Creation will host workshops to create Metal Allium Garden Ornaments for £10.00. You can pre-book by emailing [email protected] or sign up on the day. Julian will also be selling his beautiful garden ornaments made from recycled materials. Plus, local crafters will be showcasing eco-friendly gifts made from recycled materials—perfect for shopping while supporting sustainability!
Don’t miss out on the tombola, with a fantastic eco-friendly hamper up for grabs. There will also be an opportunity to recycle unwanted tech, chat to Wessex Water about reducing water waste, and meet the hospice’s green team.
